Responsibilities
- Provide personalized in-home care including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders
- Assist with mobility transfers, bathing, and personal hygiene while maintaining client dignity
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to care coordinators
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Engage clients in meaningful conversation and cognitive stimulation activities
- Maintain accurate care notes and follow individualized care plans
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Oregon driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Pass background check and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification (provided if not current)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical care tasks
- Strong communication skills and patience with elderly clients
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
