Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation, suctioning, and four-handed dentistry
- Take and develop dental X-rays using digital radiography systems
- Perform infection control protocols and sterilize dental instruments
- Manage patient scheduling and maintain accurate digital records
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all supplies are stocked
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or registration in Illinois
- 1+ years of clinical dental assisting experience
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft or dental practice management software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
