Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Manage patient scheduling and digital charting using Dentrix/EagleSoft software
- Perform sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance monitoring
- Take accurate dental X-rays and assist with CBCT imaging
- Deliver patient education on post-treatment care and oral hygiene
- Manage inventory ordering and supply chain optimization
Qualifications
- Current California RDA license or Dental Assistant certification
- 2+ years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Expertise in digital radiography and intraoral photography
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- CPR/BLS certification (must maintain current status)
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Proficiency in dental practice management software
