Responsibilities
- Perform accurate venipuncture and capillary blood collections following strict safety protocols
- Process and handle specimens with precision to ensure lab integrity
- Maintain detailed patient records and documentation using our digital systems
- Provide exceptional patient care with empathy and professionalism
- Calibrate and maintain phlebotomy equipment per manufacturer guidelines
- Collaborate with lab team to optimize workflow and turnaround times
- Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA compliance standards
Qualifications
- Current Missouri Phlebotomy Technician certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical phlebotomy experience preferred
- Strong venipuncture skills with all age groups
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- CPR certification preferred
