Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and clinical areas for dental procedures with precision and care
- Assist dentists during exams and treatments using chairside techniques
- Take and develop dental radiographs following safety protocols
- Maintain strict infection control and sterilization standards
- Manage patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Order and inventory dental supplies efficiently
- Delceive post-procedure instructions to patients
- Coordinate treatment schedules and patient flow
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or KY state license)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-rays) and infection control
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong communication and patient interaction skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
