Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, extractions, and orthodontic work
- Perform sterilization and infection control protocols per OSHA standards
- Manage patient scheduling, digital charting, and insurance verification
- Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and materials for optimal efficiency
- Take accurate dental impressions and expose radiographs
- Provide post-op instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene
Qualifications
- Active Oregon Dental Assistant certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft practice management software
- CPR certification and radiology license
- Exceptional communication and chairside manner skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and infection control compliance
