Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and maintain organized living spaces
- Document client progress and report any concerns to supervisors
- Comply with healthcare regulations and agency protocols
Qualifications
- State of Minnesota Home Health Aide certification
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Clear criminal background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and empathy
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings
