Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control, including ordering and stock rotation
- Process insurance claims and patient billing efficiently
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling
- Operate pharmacy software and automated dispensing systems
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals for patient care coordination
Qualifications
- Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician license or certification
- Minimum 1 year retail or hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and regulations
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- CPR certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
