Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection procedures
- Process and transport specimens to laboratory departments
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to OSHA and HIPAA compliance standards
- Provide patient education and comfort during procedures
- Calibrate and maintain collection equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare teams for seamless care delivery
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP or NHA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Knowledge of CLIA and OSHA regulations
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Flexible availability including weekends
