Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate patient care in acute care settings
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Monitor vital signs and document patient progress in EHR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management
- Ensure strict compliance with JCAHO and NC Board of Nursing standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active NC RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN accepted with experience)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
