Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care across diverse clinical settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, and specialty practices
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders with precision
- Monitor patient vitals, document clinical observations, and report changes to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility-specific protocols
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
- Utilize advanced EHR systems for accurate documentation and care coordination
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact license eligible)
- Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in acute care setting
- Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred for specialty roles
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EPIC, Cerner, etc.)
- Strong assessment skills and ability to manage multiple patients
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
- Specialty certifications (e.g., ER, ICU, OR) highly valued
