Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop patient care plans
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and treatment procedures
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and regulatory standards
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Indiana (or compact state)
- BSN preferred; Associate's degree with relevant experience considered
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience (ER, ICU, Med-Surg)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
- Proficiency in electronic medical documentation systems
