Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize medical emergencies using established triage protocols
- Provide expert clinical guidance via telehealth and in-person consultations
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care plans
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Manage patient flow and optimize department efficiency during peak hours
- Educate patients on treatment plans and preventive care measures
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California (CA RN)
- Minimum 2 years of emergency room or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong communication abilities in English and Spanish (bilingual preferred)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
