Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via telehealth and in-person triage to determine medical urgency
- Collaborate with physicians to develop appropriate care pathways for acute and non-urgent cases
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) with detailed patient assessments
- Provide clear patient education on treatment plans and follow-up requirements
- Coordinate care transitions between emergency departments and specialty clinics
- Monitor patient vitals and track critical changes using advanced monitoring systems
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active NV RN license (Compact License preferred)
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong assessment skills for diverse patient populations
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and decision-making abilities
