Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone, video, and in-person triage to determine urgency and appropriate care level
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop patient care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and documentation
- Provide compassionate care to diverse patient populations across age groups
- Monitor and respond to critical patient situations using established protocols
- Educate patients on healthcare resources and next steps
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Indiana (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years of emergency room or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Commitment to weekly pay schedule and punctual performance
