Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone and triage calls using established protocols
- Collaborate with physicians to determine patient priority and care pathways
- Document patient encounters accurately in EHR systems
- Provide clear medical guidance to patients and family members
- Coordinate emergency responses and critical care transfers
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona
- 2+ years emergency department or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong triage assessment and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
