Responsibilities
- Assess incoming patient calls and determine the urgency and priority level
- Provide appropriate medical advice and triage services over the phone
- Document all interactions accurately and maintain patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care
- Stay current with medical protocols and triage guidelines
- Handle emergency calls and dispatch emergency services when necessary
- Monitor and report any trends or issues in patient calls
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license in the state of Arizona
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting
- Experience in triage or emergency department preferred
- Strong assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- BLS certification required
