Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neural interfaces
- Lead cross-functional teams of PhD researchers and engineers in prototyping breakthrough innovations
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with $100M+ market potential
- Develop patent strategies for proprietary IP in next-gen tech domains
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on tech disruption forecasts
- Forge partnerships with MIT Media Lab, CERN, and other global innovation hubs
- Manage $10M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused KPIs
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Bioengineering (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in strategic tech planning at Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic computing
- Proven track record of launching products with exponential growth curves
- Security clearance for government-level R&D projects (preferred)
- Fluency in Mandarin and/or German (for global collaboration)
