Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal impacts relevant to 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning, technology roadmaps, and innovation pipelines
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable product development strategies
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-generation solutions in emerging domains
- Author thought leadership publications and present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Integrate ethical considerations and sustainability principles into all innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field with 7+ years experience
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, neurotech) and adoption curves
- Proven track record of developing strategic foresight methodologies for Fortune 500 organizations
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex future scenarios to diverse audiences
- Experience leading innovation labs or strategic initiatives with measurable impact
- Portfolio of published futures research, scenario plans, or innovation frameworks
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP, APF) strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of geopolitical, economic, and social megatrends shaping 2026
