Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual 2026 Technology Horizon Reports identifying 10+ emerging trends with market impact assessments
- Lead strategic innovation sprints with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical, climate, and tech disruption vectors
- Present executive briefings to Board of Directors on future-proofing strategies
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks for trend forecasting
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget for experimental projects and pilot programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting or corporate innovation leadership
- Proven track record of published futurist research or white papers (MIT Technology Review, Wired, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Systems Thinking, or Strategic Innovation
- Certification in horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Expertise in quantum computing, AI ethics, or climate tech forecasting
- Experience with strategic planning software (e.g., Palisade @Risk, CausalMapper)
- Public speaking portfolio at global innovation conferences (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
