Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive forces affecting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for long-term decision-making
- Partner with R&D teams to translate future insights into actionable innovation pipelines
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders through compelling data visualizations
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to embed future-readiness into organizational DNA
- Author thought leadership publications positioning FutureWorks as a future-focused leader
- Mentor junior strategists in advanced foresight methodologies and analytical tools
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field preferred
- Mastery of foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis, cross-impact matrices)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Deep understanding of emerging tech (AI, quantum computing, biotech) implications
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future strategy implementations
- Certification in foresight methodologies or strategic foresight preferred
