Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, patent filings, and academic research to identify disruptive innovations emerging by 2026
- Develop scenario-planning models for climate adaptation, AI ethics, and human augmentation technologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product development roadmaps
- Author forward-looking thought leadership for industry publications and policy forums
- Establish strategic partnerships with quantum computing and synthetic biology research institutions
- Mentor junior futurists using proprietary foresight methodologies
- Present quarterly trend briefings to the board of directors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech analysis
- Published author on technology disruption or societal transformation trends
- Proficiency in horizon scanning tools like Trend Hunter, Gartner Hype Cycle, or proprietary AI platforms
- Demonstrated success influencing multi-billion dollar product roadmaps
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, neurotechnology, and climate tech convergence
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or Copenhagen Institute)
