Responsibilities
- Anticipate global trends, technological disruptions, and societal shifts through horizon scanning and predictive modeling
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for 2026+ market landscapes and competitive landscapes
- Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate future-proof principles into innovation roadmaps
- Deliver executive briefings and thought leadership presentations on emerging paradigms
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state visions and transition strategies
- Establish KPIs and metrics to track the evolution of strategic foresight initiatives
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Policy, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or future-focused research roles
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and strategic foresight methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts into executive narratives
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future-strategy projects
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies (preferred)
- Experience with horizon scanning tools and foresight platforms (e.g., Palantir, TrendWatching)
