Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends impacting 2026-2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for board-level decision making
- Collaborate with R&D to align innovation pipelines with future market needs
- Present foresight insights to executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Produce white papers and thought leadership on future-focused topics
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
