Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, space exploration, biotech) to forecast market disruptions by 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for board-level decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state visions
- Produce whitepapers and thought leadership on emerging technologies
- Identify and evaluate acquisition/partnership opportunities in nascent markets
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership quarterly
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating complex trends into actionable business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., AGI, neurotech, fusion energy)
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in reputable industry journals
- Experience with Delphi methods, horizon scanning, and cross-impact matrices
