This role sits at the intersection of technology foresight, strategic planning, and market disruption.
In this position, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D teams, and global partners to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable tech. You'll translate complex technological possibilities into actionable business strategies while maintaining a pulse on geopolitical and societal shifts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 2026 technology foresight framework through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Produce strategic whitepapers and executive briefings on emerging technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align innovation priorities with 2026 business objectives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and government agencies for early trend detection
- Create quantitative and qualitative models to assess technology adoption curves and disruption risks
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Technology Strategy, or related field with 5+ years of experience
- Proven track record in technology forecasting or strategic innovation consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, neurotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
- Experience developing scenario planning frameworks for C-level audiences
- Strong presentation skills with ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (preferred)
