Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technology adoption across quantum, AI, and synthetic biology sectors
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping breakthrough solutions with potential to disrupt $1B+ markets
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies to accelerate innovation ecosystems
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify paradigm-shifting technologies and market inflection points
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies for executive stakeholders
- Drive sustainable innovation frameworks aligned with UN SDGs and circular economy principles
- Mentor next-generation innovators through our FutureMakers program
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation or technology leadership with proven track record of scaling breakthrough initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, nanotech)
- Experience developing future scenarios and strategic foresight methodologies
- Strong network within global innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, Cambridge, Singapore, etc.)
- Advanced degree in relevant field (PhD/Master's in Physics, CS, Bioengineering, or Strategy preferred)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Fluency in systems thinking and complex adaptive systems modeling
- Exceptional communication skills for translating vision across technical and non-technical audiences
