Responsibilities
- Develop and document strategic 2026 innovation roadmaps across AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with 3-5 year horizons
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging threats and opportunities for 2026 markets
- Design and execute scenario-planning workshops for executive stakeholders
- Translate future trends into product requirements and go-to-market strategies
- Present findings to board members and investors using data-driven storytelling
- Maintain a 2026 technology radar and publish quarterly trend briefings
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategy, product innovation, or R&D with proven 5-year planning experience
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Portfolio demonstrating delivered future-focused initiatives (patents, published papers, or launched products)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or Business
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to map complex causal relationships
- Experience leading innovation labs or corporate ventures
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (e.g., CFM) preferred
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology roadmapping frameworks
