Responsibilities

- Develop industry-wide ethical standards through white papers and policy recommendations
- Collaborate with legal teams to ensure compliance with evolving AI regulations
- Mentor junior researchers in applied ethics methodologies
- Represent the company at global AI ethics summits and conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years AI ethics experience
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier ethics/ML journals (NeurIPS, Ethics & Information Technology)
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Advanced understanding of algorithmic bias detection and mitigation techniques
- Experience with participatory design methodologies for stakeholder engagement
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex ethical concepts into technical requirements
- Strong background in quantitative research methodologies and statistical analysis
