Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive AI ethics frameworks aligned with evolving regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks)
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments for AI systems across healthcare, finance, and autonomous sectors
- Design explainable AI (XAI) protocols to ensure algorithmic transparency for stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees to resolve ethical dilemmas in product development
- Create audit trails for AI decision-making processes and compliance documentation
- Advocate for ethical AI principles in public forums and industry conferences
- Mentor engineering teams on responsible AI implementation practices
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI ethics, responsible tech, or compliance with focus on governance frameworks
- Expertise in bias detection methodologies and fairness metrics (AIF360, IBM AI Fairness 360)
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations and emerging ethical standards
- Proficiency in technical AI concepts (ML, NLP, computer vision) to bridge technical/non-technical teams
- Experience developing organizational ethics policies and training programs
- Strong publication record in AI ethics or related peer-reviewed journals
- Certification in AI governance (e.g., CEGAI, TOGAF) highly valued
