Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting as needed.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take medications on time and report any changes in health to the supervising nurse.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, including laundry and light cleaning.
- Companionship: Engage clients in conversation, activities, and outings to reduce isolation and improve quality of life.
- Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments and errands as required.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily care logs and incident reports.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- CNA, CMA, or HHA License is highly preferred but not strictly required for entry-level roles.
- Previous experience in home care, nursing, or a related field is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be compassionate, patient, and possess excellent communication skills.
- Ability to pass a physical exam.
