Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes
- Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Monitor vital signs and document health observations accurately
- Administer prescribed medications and assist with mobility exercises
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain clean, safe home environments for client comfort
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional home health aide experience in Tennessee
- Current TN HHA certification and CPR/First Aid credentials
- Excellent communication skills and empathy for elderly/disabled clients
- Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Clean background check and drug screening required
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
