Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on dietary restrictions.
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry as needed to maintain a safe living environment.
- Administer medication reminders and monitor client health status.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, shopping, and social outings.
- Document daily care logs and communicate updates to the care management team.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- CPR and First Aid Certification is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable personality traits.
