Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Assist with mobility transfers using provided equipment
- Administer medications per care plan protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding
- Monitor vital signs and document care activities
- Transport clients to appointments using company vehicles
- Implement specialized care plans for chronic conditions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Valid Virginia driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs with provided assistive devices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for elderly care and disability support
- Reliable transportation to Richmond client locations
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
