Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their quality of life.
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff or family members immediately.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary restrictions.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry services to maintain a safe and clean living environment.
- Administer medication and reminders as directed by the supervising nurse or physician.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social outings.
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide, CNA, or Caregiver is preferred but not mandatory; we offer paid training.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus but not required.
