Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse or family.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping trips, and social activities.
- Administer medication reminders as directed by the care plan.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Previous experience in home care or healthcare settings is a plus but not mandatory.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable personality.
