What You'll Do:
As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. Your duties will include assisting with daily living activities, providing companionship, and ensuring a safe and healthy environment.
Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications and report any changes in health to the supervisor.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Light Housekeeping: Perform light cleaning tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, and dishwashing to maintain a safe living space.
- Companionship: Engage clients in conversation, hobbies, and social activities to reduce isolation.
- Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments or community outings as needed.
- Observation: Monitor client behavior and report any concerns or emergencies immediately.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a CNA, HHA, or in-home caregiver is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Training: Current state certification (CNA) or completion of a certified Home Health Aide training program.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Compassion: A genuine passion for helping elderly or disabled individuals.
