Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance to clients.
- Assist with mobility issues, including transferring and walking support.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Administer medication reminders and monitor client health status.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities.
- Transport clients to medical appointments or social outings as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Current California CNA or HHA license is highly preferred; candidates without certification must be willing to obtain training.
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
