Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications on time and report any changes in health to the nursing supervisor.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage in conversation or activities to reduce loneliness.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients.
- Transportation: Assist with driving clients to medical appointments or social events.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily logs and care plans as required.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a CNA, PCA, or Caregiver is preferred but not required.
- Licensure: Valid Colorado CNA or Home Health Aide certification.
- CPR/First Aid: Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Compassion: A genuine desire to help others and a patient, caring demeanor.
