Responsibilities

  • Personal Care: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Medication Management: Remind clients to take medications on time and report any changes in condition to the nursing supervisor.
  • Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage clients in conversation, hobbies, and recreational activities.
  • Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the client.
  • Transportation: Drive clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, or social outings as needed.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete daily logs and progress notes regarding client status and care provided.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED: Required.
  • CNA/PCA Certification: Preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.
  • Valid Driver’s License: Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
