Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Companionship: Engage clients in conversation, hobbies, and recreational activities to reduce social isolation.
- Medication Support: Provide medication reminders and assist with light errands (grocery shopping, banking) as authorized.
- Meal Assistance: Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding or meal planning based on dietary restrictions.
- Environment Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the client.
- Observation: Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or mental condition to the nursing supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current CNA, HHA, or PCA certification preferred; on-the-job training provided for compassionate candidates.
- Transportation: Valid Driver's License and reliable personal vehicle required.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and families.
- Attitude: A genuine, patient, and respectful demeanor with a passion for helping others.
- Background: Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physical: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
