Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Administer medications and remind clients to take their prescriptions on time.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities.
- Monitor client health status and report any changes or concerns to the nursing team immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for clients.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred but not required for compassionate candidates.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Experience working with the elderly or individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
