Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide medication reminders and ensure clients adhere to their prescribed medication schedules.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to reduce isolation and improve mental well-being.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, and tidying living spaces.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and social outings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal vehicle.
- Pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Previous caregiving experience is a plus but not mandatory.
