Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors and individuals with disabilities.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Remind clients to take their prescribed medications at the scheduled times.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social activities, and errands.
- Monitor and report any changes in a client's physical or mental condition to the supervisor.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for the clients you serve.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required for field positions.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Basic computer literacy is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow care plans.
