Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and using walkers or wheelchairs safely.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Administer medication reminders and observe changes in patient health status.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to patient care.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to improve quality of life.
- Document daily activities and any changes in patient condition accurately in care logs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- CNA or PCA certification is a plus but not always required.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
