Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding clients who have dietary restrictions.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor immediately.
- Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and errands to maintain a safe living environment.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with light medical procedures as directed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Personal Care Assistant is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- A genuine passion for helping others and a patient, caring demeanor.
