Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in conversation and recreational activities.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry as needed.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with mobility using assistive devices.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and errands as required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for all clients.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Previous experience as a CNA, HHA, or PCA is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, kind demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
