Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to ensure patients feel safe and happy.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse.
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Transport patients to medical appointments or social activities as needed.
- Administer medication as directed by the care plan and physician instructions.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – we value attitude and willingness to learn over experience.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Basic computer skills for documentation purposes.
- Physical stamina to lift, stand, and assist patients as needed.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus but not mandatory.
