Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's mental well-being.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping to maintain a safe environment.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the care coordinator immediately.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, social activities, or errands as required.
- Administer medication reminders and accurately document care logs and daily progress.
Qualifications
- CPR and First Aid certification is required.
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid California Driver's License and current auto insurance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Previous experience in home health or caregiving is a plus but not required.
- A valid background check and drug screen are required.
