Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding according to dietary restrictions.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, including conversation and recreational activities.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry and cleaning to ensure a safe living environment.
- Monitor and document client health status, moods, and daily activities.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and errands.
- Administer medication reminders as directed by the nurse.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- CNA or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is highly preferred but not mandatory (we offer training).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for helping seniors and those in need.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
